What Is a Turning Point?
Take a listen
“A turning point is a moment in Scripture where everything changes — where God steps in, and nothing can remain the same afterward. Before the moment, the world looks one way. After it, everything shifts. These 52 moments trace the arc of God’s redemption story from Creation to the return of Christ. One turning point per week, for a full year. Each entry moves through the same rhythm: what came before, the moment everything changed, and what followed after.”
“This Jesus God raised up, and of that we all are witnesses.”— Acts 2:32

Creation
God speaks — and everything begins.
Before anything existed, God was. Then He spoke. Genesis 1–2 presents God not as a distant force or an absentee architect, but as a personal Creator who shapes the universe with intention and delight. He brings order out of nothing (ex nihilo), forms humanity in His own image (imago Dei) and declares His work not merely functional — but good. The climax is not the stars or the seas. It is a man and a woman, placed in a garden, invited into relationship with their Maker.
Nothing. No order, no life, no meaning.
God speaks: "Let there be..."
A world with shape, purpose, and beauty. Humanity bearing God's image — not as an afterthought, but as the crown of creation.
Am I living as someone created and loved by God — or am I still trying to create myself?
